Annie Hay, MA, PG Dip Counselling and Psychotherapy

I am an experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist working with women, men, couples, young people and older people in central Edinburgh. I have over thirty years of experience in mental health, and have worked in health, business and education, in the private, statutory and voluntary sectors

I work with a range of issues including: anxiety, depression, addictions, stress, anger, self-esteem, weight related issues, obsessive compulsive behaviour, food or eating related problems, relationship problems, bereavement, loss, bullying, seasonal depression (SAD), creative block, employee and workplace issues.

Transactional Analysis is the principle field of Counselling and Psychotherapy I practice (TA). TA is a lively, dynamic therapy, and recognised world-wide for bringing about personal change. Read more about TA.

Good mental health is just as important as good physical health.

All too often we under-value our mental health, ignoring early warning signs, or bury problems. Physical health and mental health support each other. They both need good care and attention.
